Our top choices for catering are Truffles Catering or AJ’s Organic Catering. If you have a favourite Caterer, we are happy to accommodate you.
You can start with a simple Soup/Salad and Sandwich or offer a more savory meal from our Hot Lunch menu. We can provide everything from basic unlimited coffee to full meals or a Reception menu with a limited bar selection.
We chose Truffles and AJ’s because they both try to order locally, supporting our local economy and providing fresh, wholesome food.
Truffles Catering
Treat your meeting participants to a gourmet meal from Truffles Catering. A Victoria favourite for over 18 years, Truffles is committed to using locally grown, or raised, products wherever possible. They take pride in the steps they have taken towards reducing waste, and conserving the environment. Truffles is Ocean Wise Certified, and is a member of the Island Chef’s Collaborative.
AJ’s Organic Catering
For optimal brain power in your meeting, count on serving AJ’s Organics’ light wraps, sandwiches, salads and soups. They offer organic and local (when available) produce, artisan cheeses, in house and island-baked breads. We love supporting AJ’s Organics, a fellow alumni of Douglas Magazine’s 10 to Watch in 2010 list of up-and-coming small businesses.
Our Baking
At Victoria Executive Centre, all baking is supplied by AJ’s Organic Catering. They use only healthy choices for ingredients, trying to be as organic as possible. Our favourite muffins are the Garden Medley, Blueberry Oat, Raisin Bran and Banana Chocolate Chip. Once in a while we will order AJ’s carrot cake for afternoon snack - one of our clients’ favourites!
Coffee
We serve Creekmore’s “Buzz Light” Dark Roast, Cup O’ Joe Medium Roast, and Komodo Decaf. All Creekmore’s coffees are certified organic and roasted in Coombs, BC.
Water
We try to save the environment by avoiding the use of bottled water. We use filtered water.
